Replacing a dyneema wishbone is quite easy, and it does not require particular tools. It's time to replace the wishbone when the external nylon braid shows signs of wear. First thing to do is removing the old wishbone: to untie the flag knot, you should press this point:
Now, you can tie the new wishbone, building a new flag knot on each of the two buttonholes coming out of the powerband heads:
Even if a sudden failure is practically impossible to happen, especially when using Totemsub original pinned shafts, it's always a good idea to bring a spare dyneema wishbone tied below the spergun handle.
