The Guizzo has been designed for use in shallow murky or troubled waters, on medium size fish. A particular attention was given to the ability of shooting bent wristed, as it would often happen when facing this kind of environmental conditions, yet mantaining an absolute accuracy. The speargun barrel section was designed optimizing the ease of side training, and the ability to miss the effect of a strong swell. The central part of the rail has been completely redesigned. It still mantains its primary function of keeping the shaft straight on the vertical axis before the shot, but the sides of the rail have been flattened. The reason of this is that a shallow and troubled water dedicated speargun gets often thrown upon the rocks after the shot, while the spearfisherman is busy stringing the fish. The new design avoids the speargun to be damaged, even though the scratches would only have an aestethical relevance.

the Guizzo 80 is the ideal speargun for winter spearfishing in murky or troubled shallow waters. It can be used succesfully even hunting caves and crevices, due to its small size and great manouverability.
